Us

Rckt is a small company with big ideas. Our team is comprised of people who are great all-rounders but also fantastic in their roles and, while we don't always have openings available (we will advertise them here when we do), we're always excited to hear from talented people who want to join us. There are plenty of benefits aside from being part of an extremely well-regarded, creatively focused company:

You

For non-junior developer positions, an ideal candidate would demonstrate:

  1. experience in web development - this could be previous positions, freelance work or demonstrable experience of deadline and quality driven production
  2. a passion for development - you should always be learning, not necessarily the latest fad but new tools, new languages, new sites and new methods
  3. a familiarity with open-source software - an active GitHub account or examples of working with OSS are perfect for this

For non-junior design positions, a great fit would have:

  1. familiarity with crayons and a well stocked pencil-case
  2. an uncanny gift to get inside users' heads, and look at design and usability problems through other people's eyes
  3. the ability to create ludicrous designs to make us go "ooh" (and the development team cry)

Recruitment agencies

We know you have a job to do, and have the best candidates in the world, and want to help us, BUT we've made the decision that the type of people we want to recruit will be engaging with us through social media, finding this themselves and contacting us directly, so we don't use recruitment agencies.
