Charity giveaway update

A few weeks ago we were having a clear out of the office, of some furniture and IT equipment that we no longer needed. Rather than send it to landfill, we wanted to see if it could be re-used in the Sheffield community, and so we put out a tweet offering it to local charities.

We were overwhelmed by the response, and received loads of retweets and interest. We have been pleased to be able to support the following Sheffield and South Yorkshire charities:

• Safe@Last, working with and on behalf of children and young people at risk through running away, with a filing cabinet and phones
• The Children's Hospital Charity, supporting Sheffield's Children's Hospital, with a set of office chairs and drawers 
• Heeley City Farm with various pieces of networking equipment
• Masjid E Umar with networking equipment
• Phoenix Futures with a wireless mouse 

We're glad it's all being put to good use by so many local good causes.

We have a few pieces of equipment remaining, and will post details of it in the near future.
