N8 Research Partnership
N8 is an organisation that brings together the top 8 research universities in the north of England (including Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester), to promote and commercialise the ground-breaking work being done.
Rckt has worked with N8 since its inception, originally designing its website a few years ago.
Since then, the organisation has changed and evolved, and as it emerged from its pilot phase, they commissioned Rckt to update the website design to better reflect their current work and bring the design up to date. It uses a clear layout, specially designed icons, plenty of white space and the corporate palette of blue and green.
Focussing on key areas of research, the site provides far more content than ever before, making it easier to find, and communicates N8's mission more clearly to visitors.
It is fully content managed to allow the client to upload new documents, pages and news stories as they are required. Naturally it meets all the accessibility requirements you would expect of such forward looking institutions.
