Taste Tideswell – school of food ecommerce site

Taste Tideswell and the Tideswell School of Food is an ambitious community enterprise, funded by the Big Lottery Fund aimed at revitalizing a rural community though the food economy.
Tideswell School of Food, a major strand within the larger project, is an educational business that ploughs all profits back into education. It stands for cooking enlightenment and gives people opportunities to learn and develop so that they enjoy the fulfillment and social activity that comes with preparing and eating food.
Taste Tideswell asked Rckt to develop their online presence for the School of Food, incorporating courses portfolios, online booking and a simple CMS so staff can keep everything up to date.
Working with the project’s bold new brand, created by our friends Peter and Paul, we developed a front-end design that promotes the school's cookery courses, whilst communicating the project’s social enterprise aims. We also made an extensive bespoke modifications to our CMS, creating a simple to use course database.
